Double sided blackout banner for taking advantage of high traffic exposure in two directions on one banner material which blacks out the image from the backside so it doesn’t show from the other side, double sewn hems with grommets and rope sewn in the hems.

1. Standard Finishing - Hem Rope and Grommets (Click image to view larger image)

All Banners come with double stitching, ropes sewn into the hems for added reinforcement along with grommets space evenly apart across the top and the bottom.
If you require a custom grommet configuration let us know upon order so we can meet your needs.

2. Reinforced Corners (Click image to view larger image)

Reinforced corners are needed when banners are going to be under a great deal of force in the corners, such as banners being suspended from the 4 corners only.
Another reason for reinforced corners are for banners being suspended mainly from the top row of grommets and have tension on the 4 corners to keep the banner tight, such as street banners.

3. Sewn in rope tails (Click image to view larger image)

When grommets are not needed to hang a banner sewn in rope makes it easy to use hooks to hang the banner.
The rope will support the full length of the banner and keep it tight.
Sewn in rope banners are not make for long term suspension.
If you are in high wind areas and want to suspend a banner across a road you will need grommets and webbing sewn in to the hem for the correct support.
Windy areas would be better served with mesh banners over 13oz banners. Mesh banners allow the wind to pass thru the banner evenly and cut stresses on the banner by half.

4. Pole Pockets (Click image to view larger image)

Pole pockets allow banners to be used in parades or slipped over hangers designed to hang on poles for pole banners.

5. Sewn in Webbing (Click image to view larger image)

Sewn in webbing in creases the strength of the hem with or with out grommets.
Sewn in webbing also allows for "D" rings and "Clips" a strong area for hanging a banner. The webbing will support the weight of the banner evenly and increase it life greatly in windy areas or spanning long distances.
Important to us mesh banners for long term windy areas. Webbing will ensure strong and safe hanging of all banners when spanning great distances.

6. Snaps Clip, Carabiners and D-Rings (Click image to view larger image)

Clips and "D" rings are used when a banner is requiring a fast in stall and take down. They are also very strong fasteners for suspension types of banners that have to securely hold a great deal of weight and can with stand great stresses.

7. Lap Seams (Click image to view larger image)

. Lap Seams are used to increase the height of any banner.
Banners that can cover complete sides of building maybe made up of several strips of printed banners to create on extremely large banner.
In areas of extreme wind or banners covering solid areas and open areas at the same time Mesh banners are ideal because they allow more wind to pass through allowing oversized banners greater longevity.

Upload Information

Important -
The area to upload your art is located in the "View Cart" area. After chosing the type of product, and size you "Add to Cart". Once added to the "Cart" you then "Click", " View Cart" and there you will see the prompt to upload art work.

Before you upload your artwork or work order file please review our file formats and artwork guidelines below as to allowable formats. Please use the same file name you submitted with your order or quote request.

Our Processes:
• Gerber Edge Print - direct film transfer to vinyl: heat transfer.
• Mimaki CJV Print - 4 color process solvent base print (indoor & outdoor application).
• Screen Print - silkscreen printing.
• Vinyl Cut - vinyl appliqué signage.

Acceptable Programs:
• Adobe Illustrator - any version up to CS5 files supported .ai .eps. pdf.
• Indesign - up to CS5, Package all art and fonts being used

• 4 Color Process printing is used for reproducing high quality graphics with photo type images. Digitally created process images should be created in or converted to CMYK format (cyan, magenta, yellow, black). Some programs, such as Photoshop, default to RGI3 format (red, green, blue), and must be converted to CMYK. COLOR WILL CHANGE when converting from RGB to CMYK and ADJUST COLORS AS NEEDED.

Both created & scanned images must have a resolution of 125 dpi or higher at final print size. Resolution cannot simply be increased in the program if working from a low resolution file. This merely spreads the original pixel information across a greater number of pixels and does not improve image quality (most internet images are a low resolution 72 dpi).

Scanned Images cannot be manipulated. Text, logos, borders, etc. should be created in a drawing/layout program such as Adobe Illustrator, Freehand or Corel draw (this allows us to make necessary adjustments to the digital file such as adding trap).

Convert all text to paths, curves or outlines. If this is not possible send PC Truetype, Opentype, or postscript 1 or postscript 3 (truetype preferred).

Send a copy of all supporting files used to create the image.
• Photoshop files - leave the art in layers (do not flatten or merge layers).
• eps files - Adobe Illustrator save as illustrator eps. Freehand save as editable eps.
• Tiff files - Photoshop save as 125 DPI actual size.
• Bitmap Raster Image - 300 DPI actual size.
• PDF - file must contain vector art, high resolution images and fonts converted to outlines or provide fonts.

Color proofs are made from the digital file and may vary slightly from your computer monitor & printer. The final printed product may also vary slightly from the color proof due to the differences between printing & proofing methods.

Accepted File Extensions through our upload utility:

.gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .pdf, .doc, .txt, .eps, .ai, .psd, .tiff, .bmp, .zip, .sit, .pkzip.

All other file extensions are disallowed from uploading and attempts to do so will result in a failed upload. We log all IP addresses.

Files may be bundled using:

WinZip or Stuffit file compression programs generating these extensions: .zip, .sit, .pkzip.

If your work order artwork consists of several files we recommend using a compression utility to bundle them before uploading. This avoids confusion as to file ownership if several customers are uploading more then one file at the same time. Files with the same name can not be over written.
